Biography
Ron was born and raised on the island of Oahu, and spent most of his childhood on Waikiki Beach.   When not surfing Ron would often play with his dad at popular golf course a few blocks from the beach.
Ron relocated to the Bay Area in the early-1980's.  After a successfull corporate career in the Marketing Department of Levi Strauss & Co. in S.F he enrolled in the PGA of America Golf Manaement Program in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  After four years of academic training he was elected into membership by the PGA of America as a PGA "Class A" Teaching Professional.  He has been at Mariners Point Golf Center since 1996.
Teaching Style
Ron's teaching philosophy is suited for the committed player who is seeking more consistency and a better understanding of the golf swing.  He does not provide "quick fixes", but rather prescribes a structured regiment that when imprinted over time, on a regular basis, helps deliver measurable improvement.
