Dennis Mitchell, has over forty years of experience as a golf instructor, club fitter and business owner.
Dennis believes in a complete approach to game improvement by addressing all aspects of the game including full swing, short game, course management, practice techniques, mental training, golf fitness, and properly fitted equipment. As an instructor at the Doral Resort and Spa in Miami he learned how to be a world class instructor from Jim McLean, top 100 teachers in the world. During his instruction career Dennis has worked with some established PGA tour, DP world tour, LPGA, Korn Ferry tour, Collegiate, Amateur and junior players. Competitive golf is still a passion and playing achievements include tournament victories at the junior, amateur and professional levels. Dennis’ teaching philosophy is that the golf swing cannot be standardized to fit every golfer. Dennis develops the golf swing around the student’s capabilities and determines the most effective way for the student to swing the golf club. Dennis improves upon each student’s current abilities by keeping the swing changes within the style of the student. Fundamentals are the building blocks for a consistent golf swing, Dennis emphasizes the “FUN” in fundamentals.
