FAQ

What is your Cancellation / Refund policy?

Camper cancellations will be given refunds (less the $75 registration fee) up to fourteen (14) days prior to the start of your scheduled camp. There will be no refunds given if you cancel within fourteen (14) days prior the start of your scheduled camp. Campers are able to receive a credit to attend another camp during the summer of 2022, based on availability. Full refunds will be given for medical reasons, provided requests are accompanied by a physician's letter and must be received prior to the first day of camp. Cancellations must be made in writing by sending an email to rsagara@marinerspoint.com

What is the daily curriculum?

The daily curriculum places a strong emphasis on learning golf's fundamntals (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging first, and foremost.
The curriculum is designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment.

Can siblings be grouped together?

Depending on your children’s age and maturity level, we will do our best to keep them in the same group upon request. For specific questions regarding your children and their camp placement, please include as much detail as possible when completing our form below.

What safety protocols are in place to protect my child?

Our coaches have worked hard to ensure that all cleaning protocols have been enhanced to not only meet but exceed CDC recommendations for cleaning and sanitization. Our camp structure has been designed to adhere to all local county guidelines. From drop off/pick up process to regular hand washing between throughout the session, we have processes to keep our camp participants safe.
Do I need to bring golf clubs?
Yes, we ask all campers to bring their own clubs. Customed fitted golf sets and individual clubs are available for purchase. Equipment must be ordered 3 weeks in advance.

What is the daily schedule?

Camp will begin at 10:00am and end at 2:00pm. Lunch is from 11:45 to 12:45pm. In the morning Campers will participate in rotations that will include putting, chipping, and full swing stations. Fun and engaging activities will focus on growing knowledge and expertise in a particular skill set. After lunch campers will play nine holes on the golf course that will promote the continued development and mastery of golf skills.

What is your instructor to Player ratio?

To ensure quality instruction and more importantly for the safety of each student, our ratio is one instructor or coach for every ten campers. The instructor to student ratio may change depending on the age group and skill level of the students.

How are campers grouped?

Campers are grouped according to age. We will place friends who signed up together in the same group.Campers will remain together the entire week and rotate daily through short game, putting, full swing.

Can my child join his/her sibling/friend in an older/younger age group?

As our curriculum and activities are designed specifically for each age level, we strongly discourage group hopping. Campers can join their friends who are in a different age group during snack break and lunch.

Rules and Safety

First and foremost your child's safety is our main concern. We consider safety our greatest priority. Safety guidelines are discussed with students on the first day of camp and are reviewed daily. All campers must follow instructions given by any coach. This is for the safety of all participants during camp. Failure to follow instructions could lead to dangerous situations or injury.
