During the past nine years we have introduced thousands of children to the wonderful sport of golf. Our programs and methods of teaching are designed to maintain a high level of enthusiasm and interest in what is arguably one of the most difficult sports to master. Each child learns in a safe and supportive environment that cultivates confidence and self-esteem. We enhance a child's growth as a golfer both by skill and by knowledge.

Whether your child is a beginner or returning Mariners Point camper, we look forward to teaching them a sport that can be enjoyed for a lifetime. Above all we hope that each child is able to set their own goals in the areas of golf, health and fitness.

SPRING Golf Camp

The SPRING Golf Camp is one of our most popular camps of the year. It is designed for beginners just discovering the game to the more accomplished player wishing to improve his or her skills. Lessons, golf games and contests make this camp a SPRING-time favorite. You may sign up for as many days as you would like. For more information please email Ron Sagara at: rsagara@marinerspoint.com

When:	April 10-14 and 17-21. Attend one or more days.
Cost:	Half-day 9:00-12pm; Cost $59 per day; All-day 9:00-3:00pm; Cost $89 per day
Ages:	Boys and girls 5-13 yrs.

FREE Group Instruction (New in 2006!)

Please join us and see why playing golf at Mariners Point is so much fun! Through the entire month of January group golf INSTRUCTION is FREE. All you pay for is a medium basket of range balls ($10) or short game access ($6). Reservations are necessary. Space is limited so sign up early. Time:	Saturdays and Sundays 12:00-12:30am or 1:00-1:30pm
Ages:	Boys and girls ages 6-13yrs.
Cost:	Free instruction; students must pay for range balls ($10) or short game access ($6)

Weekly Group Playing Lessons (New in 2006!)

This NEW class is a group playing lesson on the golf course. Students and instructor will play as many holes as they can in an hours time.

Students will be working on club selection, course management, reading greens, etiquette, rules and safety. Cost: $15 green fee due at check-in. To learn more please contact Ron Sagara at rsagara@marinerspoint.com

Tiger Cubs (New in 2006!)

This program is a wonderful way for your child to develop a lifetime love of golf. Tiger Cubs will get their paws wet learning the basics of putting and chipping. Golf clubs provided. To learn more please contact Ron Sagara at rsagara@marinerspoint.com

Ages:	Boys and girls ages 5-6yrs.
Cost:	4 consecutive classes; each student pays $15 registration and $6 per class for use of short game area.

After School Mini Golf Camps

This program is designed to teach kids the fundamentals of the game with other students of their own age and ability. Students will participate in a variety of golf activities in a fun and supportive environment.

Weekend Golf Camps

This class is designed to focus on the fundamentals of the game. Your child will learn the proper techniques for putting, chipping, pitching and full swing. We will also review drills to improve balance, coordination, body awareness and posture.
