Camp Policies

Medical Questionnaire: Is there a physical or mental disability, including allergies, that the instructor should know about for instructional modification or emergency? If yes, please explain:

Junior Code of Conduct: There are certain inherent risks associated with golf. To minimize these risks all participants are advised to observe all the rules and etiquette of golf at all times. Recklessly swinging or throwing a golf club, cursing, or defacing property, will not be tolerated. A child will be dismissed from a program for compromising the safety of others. No warnings will be given. Program fees will not be refunded.

Camp Cancellation Policy: If you have to cancel, we will issue you a full camp credit valid for any Mariners Point Golf Camp during the 2004 or 2005 camp season. The camp credit is transferable to a family member or friend. Cash refunds will be given only with the purchase of Refund Insurance.

Refund Insurance: Mariners Point offers families Refund Insurance for a nominal $35 fee, due at the time of registration. Refund Insurance entitles you to a full refund of camp fees (less $35) if you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of your session. With Refund Insurance, if you cancel within 14 days of your registered session, we will give you a camp credit for all camp fees paid, valid through 2005. Your credit is transferable to family members or friends, and is good toward all Mariners Point Golf Camps. If you have registered for more than one session, your $35 Refund Insurance covers all sessions.

Photo Release: I understand that from time to time photographs may be taken of camp activities and participants. By checking the box below, I authorize Mariners Point to use or publish any photographs taken showing my participation or my child/children’s to promote the programs on the Mariners Point Internet web site, future publications and/or flyers.

Release of Liability: In consideration of your accepting this registration, I hereby agree to indemnify, and hold harmless Mariners Point, VB Golf LLC, the City of Foster City and any of its officers, agents or employees from any liability or claim or action regardless of the cause, including the negligence of the above-named entities for damages resulting from or in any way arising out of the participation in the program by the person registered.
